Our Trustees

Dr Thakhani Takalani
Dr. Thakhani Takalani currently serves as Head of Univen (University of Venda) Centre for Continuing Education at Univen Innovative Growth Company (UIGC). With a Masters in Institutional Agriculture and a PhD in Philosophy in Rural Development, he is also a qualified secondary school teacher.
At UIGC, Dr. Takalani has pioneered transformative education programs, impacting learners as interns and professionals alike.
Emphasizing lifelong learning, he fosters supportive environments crucial for community growth. His expertise spans Policy Development, Project Management, and Education, Skills Development, and Training.

Mr. Avhatakali Nyadzani
Mr. Avhatakali Nyadzani is an experienced Project Manager and Education Specialist with expertise in curriculum development, teacher training, and educational leadership. Holding an M.Ed in Mathematics and Physical Sciences Education, he has a strong background in material design, assessment, and moderation.
With extensive experience in the education management sector, he has played a key role in staff development, leadership training, and program management. A University of Pretoria graduate, he is dedicated to improving education systems and developing customized solutions that enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.

Adv. Dovhani David Raphunga
Adv. Dovhani David Raphunga is a distinguished legal professional and human rights advocate with extensive experience in South African law. Currently serving as Manager of Legal Services at Vhembe District Municipality, he provides strategic legal guidance, oversees litigation, and ensures compliance with labour laws. His career includes managing labour relations at Limpopo Provincial Treasury and contributing to policy development at Public Works, Limpopo Province.
Adv. Raphunga's commitment to human rights is evident through his work with the SA Human Rights Commission, where he investigated violations and conducted educational workshops, advancing community empowerment and legal education.
Our Impact at a Glance
Our Operational Model
FutureSA Foundation NPC fulfills its mandate through donations and sponsorships.
In compliance with SARS (South African Revenue Service) regulations, it may not engage in any trade or business activities.
The foundation secures funding to facilitate supplementary education programs for deserving learners and recipients, as identified by stakeholders such as the Department of Education, corporations, individuals, and other partners.
All donated funds are directed toward public benefit activities, as outlined in Section 30(7) of the Income Tax Act, including:
Educational enrichment, academic support, and outreach programs for underprivileged communities.
Career guidance services for school and higher education students.
Initiatives addressing education provision, learning, teaching, training, curriculum support, and whole-school development.
Bridging courses to help educationally disadvantaged individuals access higher education.
Accredited education and training programs in line with the Skills Development Act (1998).
